Stem Cells: Not Human Anyway


During the abortion and and human embryo debates, criteria have been developed that determine whether an embryo has moral status. These include the possession of full human genome, potential for development into a human being, sentience, and the presence of cognitive abilities. [8]

By these criteria, an early embryo is not a human being and is therefore the property of the mother, who can do with it what she pleases. More about this argument in the video:
